After the success of last year’s edition, the Baselayer Challenge is back for 2026, returning to Cerdanya with fresh energy and a springtime focus.

Once again, we’re heading into one of the most spectacular (and demanding) cycling regions of the Pyrenees. Together with our trusted local partners, Pertot and Cerdanya Cycling Culture, we’ve shaped a route that delivers exactly what this place is known for: beautiful roads, iconic climbs, and a day that demands full commitment on the bike.

CONQUER THE ICONIC CLIMBS, ALL IN A SINGLE DAY.

The format remains unchanged. A baselayer printed with a list of legendary climbs, all to be completed in a single day. Two route options will once again make the challenge accessible to a broader range of riders, while keeping the spirit of the event fully intact.

For 2026, the shift to spring brings a different feel to the challenge; cooler temperatures, changing conditions, and small route refinements that keep things interesting without changing the essence of the ride.
