01  THE BRIEF

FROM BRIEF TO KIT

It all started with an idea.

We invited third-year students from ERAM, the University School of Arts in Girona, to work on a real Tactic Custom brief: create a kit for the people who make up Tactic.

We didn’t want a company jersey.

We wanted something people would actually want to wear. Something they could make their own. Something with personality that still felt unmistakably Tactic.

But before they could start designing, they needed to get to know us.

The students stepped inside our factory, discovered how we work and spoke with people from different teams. They saw what goes on behind every piece and, above all, started to understand the people who make Tactic what it is.

The first step wasn’t to design. It was to listen, observe and get to know each other.

02  THE IDEA

FROM PEOPLE TO DESIGN

From there, they started looking for an idea that could represent us as a group.

They found it in the peloton: different people moving forward together.

That idea became a graphic language. Dots, shapes and layers come together to form a single unit. Lines and arrows bring movement into the design. And colour adds personality to a piece that was never meant to look uniform.

What had started with a visit to our factory was beginning to take shape.

An outside perspective on Tactic, turned into an idea of its own.

03  THE RESULT

FROM DESIGN TO RIDE

And finally, the idea left the page.

The result was the Factory Crew Kit: a jersey created from the ERAM students’ project and produced by Tactic for our team.

But a project like this doesn’t end when the piece comes off the production line.

We organised a ride around Girona to wear it together for the first time, put it to the test and see how it performed where it really belonged: on the bike.

Miles, conversations, climbs and roads shared together.

And the result was excellent.

The design worked. The jersey worked. And, above all, it made sense when we were all wearing it together.

04  MORE THAN A KIT

WHEN THE KIT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER

But that ride showed us that the project had become something more than a design exercise.

For a few hours, work was left behind.

People from different teams, with different roles and daily routines, shared the road, the pace and the same direction.

And it’s in moments like these, away from screens and familiar surroundings, that different ways of connecting begin to appear.

Conversations that might never have happened at the factory. Shared moments. Laughter. Helping each other up a climb. Waiting for whoever was riding behind.

The jersey represented a group. The ride helped bring that group closer together.

05  FROM KIT TO CREW

A STORY THAT CONTINUES ON THE ROAD

Perhaps this is the part that wasn’t written into the brief. The collaboration with ERAM started with a conversation about design, but ended up being about people. First, the students came into our factory to understand who we are. Then, an idea of theirs became a piece that we took out onto the road together.

And somewhere along the way, something was created that is difficult to manufacture and impossible to design on paper: a sense of belonging. A shared ride gave us the chance to see each other differently. Beyond roles, departments and the tasks of everyday work.

Because, in the end, being part of a team is also about this. Sharing time. Sharing the road. Sharing something that goes beyond work.
