Get to know Tactic crew Ep.2 Roger
ROOTED IN WHO HE IS
Outside Tactic, Roger doesn’t really change. He carries the same way of being into every part of his life, approachable and willing to help, quietly present for the people around him. He values time with his family deeply, and in between the rhythm of everyday life, he looks for small pockets of time to disconnect. Sport often becomes that space, a way to reset and breathe.
Those who know Roger well would likely describe him as someone you can rely on. Someone easy to talk to and easy to work with. There’s also a constant thread running through everything he does: curiosity. A need to understand how things work and, almost instinctively, how they could work better.
STEPPING INTO WHAT HE ALREADY KNEW
Roger’s arrival at Tactic wasn’t entirely new. In many ways, he already knew the place. For years, he had been working alongside the company as an ERP consultant, so when he officially joined, it felt less like stepping into the unknown and more like continuing a journey, this time from within.
What stayed with him from those first days wasn’t a specific moment, but a feeling: the sheer complexity behind everything. The number of moving parts, the people, the processes, all quietly connected to make things happen.
His role today reflects that same complexity. There isn’t just one thing Roger does, but many. He moves between systems and people, between infrastructure and ideas, keeping technology running, analysing processes, building tools and solving issues. Alongside all of that, there’s a constant need to keep learning, especially now, in a world that’s rapidly evolving with AI. It demands more, but it also keeps things alive.
FINDING PURPOSE IN THE DETAILS
What drives Roger isn’t recognition, it’s impact. The quiet satisfaction of seeing something he’s worked on make a difference. A process that flows better, a tool that makes someone’s day easier, a problem that disappears.
But that same breadth of responsibility comes with its own challenges. There are always many things happening at once, and knowing where to focus, what to prioritise, is part of the ongoing balance.
When it comes to pride, he doesn’t point to a single defining project. Instead, it’s found in the accumulation of small improvements, things that, over time, become part of how the company works, almost unnoticed, but essential.
DRIVEN BY CURIOSITY, GROUNDED BY REAL LIFE
Beyond work, Roger’s mind doesn’t drift too far from what inspires him: technology, innovation, new ideas. He listens, reads, observes and, almost without trying, begins to imagine how those ideas could take shape in his own environment.
There’s also something more personal. Watching his children interact so naturally with technology reminds him of something essential: that the best solutions are often the simplest ones, the ones that don’t need to be explained.
When he needs to disconnect, Roger turns to movement. Cycling on the road or in the mountains, rowing, swimming in the sea when the weather allows, making the most of the landscape around Empordà.
And when he speaks about Tactic, there’s a quiet sense of pride. Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s always trying to move forward. If Tactic were a person, Roger imagines someone balanced, professional yet close, serious when needed, but never losing a sense of enjoyment. Someone resolute, but also deeply passionate.
And in its garments, he sees a reflection of that same character: quality, elegance, reliability and a care for detail that doesn’t need to shout to be noticed.
