WHEN THE EARTH CALLS, WE RESPOND WITH ACTION

There are days that pass. And there are others that leave a mark.

On April 22nd, Earth Day, at Tactic we decided it wasn’t enough to simply acknowledge it we had to live it. We had to step outside, look at our surroundings with new eyes, and take action. Because the roads that inspire us, the ones we ride in search of performance, freedom, and speed, also carry a story we often choose not to see.

Early in the morning, the team came together with a clear purpose: to give something back to the environment that gives us so much every day. We spread out across the surroundings of Girona, covering iconic routes such as Els Àngels, Mas Llunès, and Santa Pellaia. The setting was familiar. What wasn’t so familiar was what lay hidden along the roadsides.

Bag after bag, kilometer after kilometer, the reality became undeniable. These weren’t just discarded items. They were signals. Over 150 kg of waste that spoke for itself: countless plastic bottles, abandoned cans… and even a fire extinguisher, as if someone had tried to put out one fire while leaving behind a much bigger one.

That morning, every item we picked up weighed more than its material. It carried meaning. It reflected a disconnect with our environment. But above all, it represented an opportunity for change.

Because when you stop, when you bend down and pick up something that should never have been there, something shifts. You begin to understand that respect for the planet is not an abstract idea. It is action. It is commitment. It is choosing to be part of the solution.

A COMMITMENT THAT TURNS EVERY ACTION INTO LEGACY

At Tactic, this commitment doesn’t begin and end in a single day. It is the thread that runs through everything we do. It’s the decision to eliminate plastic bags entirely and replace them with compostable alternatives, ensuring every material has a second life.

It’s the strength of generating 60% of our energy through solar power, the drive to transform the textile industry through recycled materials and moving toward a future of 80% sustainable apparel.

It’s also the creativity behind projects like Retrace, where what once seemed forgotten is brought back to life. Because we believe in a circular model and nothing should be wasted if it can be transformed.

Earth Day reminded us that the planet doesn’t need us to be perfect it needs us to be committed. To be present. To be brave.

Because there is no performance without respect no future without awareness and because every small action every hand that picks up, every choice that adds up has the power to change everything.
